Counselling is a form of person-centred talking therapy that deals with a wide range of emotional problems arising from life events such as: bereavement, interpersonal and relationship issues, work and school difficulties, sexual abuse, domestic violence and traumas.

Counselling offers people a safe, confidential place to talk about life issues and problems that may be confusing, painful or uncomfortable, without the label of an emotional disorder, whilst helping clients bring about effective change, and enhance their wellbeing.

As opposed to CBT or other forms of psychotherapy offered by us, counselling tends to be less structured, and focused on exploring clients’ inner experiences. The counsellor is less directive in leading the sessions and guiding /advising the client being more of a facilitator of personal insights and exploration of internal conflicts.
